These lesson plans cover a 5-week span but could easily be adapted for a shorter or longer period of time. If you have access to the real instruments then they could be used rather than pictures/photos. This has been put together using lots of different internet resources and ideas. This has some really great ideas for introducing the instruments as well as a wonderful piece of music! However, there is a major mistake in the Week 2 lesson. People who study fossils are called PALEONTOLOGISTS, not ARCHAEOLOGISTS. HUGE difference!

For someone that does not play a musical instrument this has opened up a whole new avenue for ways of teaching music to adults with learning disabisablites - thanks for a great idea.
