About This Lesson
Use this two-page checklist before the first week, after a roster change, or when a class needs a new seating plan. Map the room, place required seats, test sightlines and walking routes, shuffle seats that can move, pin those that must stay, and prepare a clear copy for a substitute.
Page 2 uses fictional names and room details to show a 12-desk seating plan with three pinned seats, one pair placed together, two students placed apart, and an open seat. The worksheet does not ask teachers to add a roster or private reasons.
