About This Lesson
Students bring in or the teacher can supply nutrition label information. They will compare and chart the number of grams of carbohydrates, fats and proteins in five foods, then answer questions to analyze by comparing which is the most nutritious food of the group. I also have students use gram weights which stack up to visualize the grams. Listed under the attached chart are ten snack foods which I have nutrition cards for. I have my students pick from these.
