DEVELOP POSITIVE BEHAVIORS: KINDNESS

About This Lesson

Guide your students through a fun journey of kindness! In this expert-designed lesson, students learn about how to show kindness, and the importance of doing so. Students are introduced to kindness via a letter from Kenji. Then, students examine how Kindness is modeled in our story The Peekapak Pals and the Season of Kindness.

To access this story at reading level F&P I/J (1st/2nd Grade) as well as other learning topics and activities sign up for a free account at peekapak.com, books at multiple reading levels are available in our paid plans.

Kindness is being considerate, caring, and respectful of others and acting in ways that will benefit others without expecting anything in return. The benefits of teaching kindness in schools include: A greater sense of belonging and self-esteem, increased peer acceptance, less bullying, increased feelings of gratitude, better concentration and results, increased health, and less stress.
