This is one of the children's favorite activities to help understand angles. Includes success criteria/instructions for children to follow. Ideas for children of all abilities to have fun learning about angles. Aligned with Common Core State Standards: 4.MD.5 Measurement and Data: Geometric measurement; 4.G.1 Geometry: Draw and identify lines and angles, and classify shapes by properties of their lines and angles.

Standards

Recognize angles as geometric shapes that are formed wherever two rays share a common endpoint, and understand concepts of angle measurement:
Draw points, lines, line segments, rays, angles (right, acute, obtuse), and perpendicular and parallel lines. Identify these in two-dimensional figures.
