About This Lesson
This unit is huge and beautifully done. The student handout is very student center and focus the learner to look and check for their own I cans. What a powerful force to have engaged learners ensuring that they understood their learning experience. The decades is more like a project if you read the first several slides. The idea is the students are looking at the decade and exploring that part of the way events shaped peoples lives. They are to do the research to understand and share. I think I would formalize their sharing within maybe the hyperdoc framework. I would also make the voting itself a teachable moment and formalize it. I have found that studnets adore this s we did this at our school for the last 4 years and it was very well loved by our students and increased desire for more advance study of the topic.
