About This Lesson
These documents contain freshman vocabulary lists; practice quizzes; and quizzes. The words were drawn mainly from a list of frequently used words on the ACT and from their literature readings. The quizzes are fill in the blanks for sentence completions.This set of quizzes offers the options of an A and a C version. The A version is the sentence completion. The C version is an easier one since it is matching definitions; but the student who chooses this route can get no higher than 75%; even with them all correct.
