About This Lesson

This document provides a tutorial for teachers on how to implement Howard Gardner's entry points strategy. This differentiation strategy is used at the beginning of a unit to spike student interest and investment in the topic of study by giving students different avenues of investigation. It can also be used to provide vital background information. While this strategy can be used at all grade levels and in all content areas, the examples given are specific to a unit over the American dream which is a common theme in American literature.
