About This Lesson
In this unit centered on Homer's The Odyssey, students analyze what it means to be heroic through The Odyssey, current American culture, and seminal American texts. Over the course of the unit, students work on standards from reading, writing, and speaking and listening. This unit incorporates technology integration, differentiation, and project-based learning. Handouts and rubrics are included.
