About This Lesson
This is a project based learning lesson plan uses geocaching to reinforce math skills, writing skill, probe solving skills, map skills and teamwork. Objects to be measured need to be found by using given coordinates, then the objects measured. Applying the object measurements into geometry problems, a numeric key is generated. Using the geometry numeric key, then the geocache coordinates can be determined and geocache found. On completion of the task, a reflection essay is completed by the students.
