About This Lesson
The concept of sin and punishment, reward and goodness is as relevant today as it was centuries ago. In this authentic task, students invent their own circle of hell along the likes of Dante’s Inferno and then create a visual representation of it and write their own mini-canto. All parts of their representation should be original and may not choose one of the sins Dante explores. At the end, each student will reflect on this task and each group will share their presentation which will be maximum 5 minutes long.
