My song "6,000,000" was first performed for Holocaust Remembrance Day at the New Jersey Statehouse in April 2006. Since that time, it has been performed numerous times under the auspices of the Anti-Defamation League, The March of Remembrance and Hope, the Holocaust Resource Center at Kean University, Rutgers University, and various churches and synagogues. This song is an integral part of the state-wide New Jersey Holocaust Education curriculum for grades K-12. This Lesson includes a music lead sheet and an instrumental track for grades 3-8, and a four-part choral arrangement for high school and adult choirs. My other "Share My Lesson" topic entitled "Holocaust Remembrance - "6,000,000" as a Poem" includes a Lesson Plan for use with this song. Also included here is a letter from the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education detailing the use of "6,000,000" in the New Jersey curriculum for Holocaust Studies and Genocide Awareness Education.
