About This Lesson

Click here for a BRAND NEW eLearning video EVERY Sunday evening!

This is a lesson on wind speed. The lesson includes a science experiment, which teaches how to build an anemometer. An anemometer can be used to measure wind speed. It’s a very common instrument used by meteorologists at weather stations. The at home experiment is easy for kids to do and requires materials that you probably already have around your house!

This is absolutely perfect as a first time wind speed lesson for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. Ideal review lesson for upper grade levels (3-5).

Created by a teacher, designed for elementary students, and fun for all ages. Elementary School Lesson.
