Bridges joins the Wobblies – find out who they are – and becomes a longshoreman – find out what they do. The working conditions on the waterfront are grueling and dangerous, so bad that men feel they have nothing left to lose, and they are turning to Bridges to lead them in a fight for better pay, better conditions, and a better life. Could that be possible, and are there still men and women working under harsh, unfair conditions today?
