In this lesson; special needs students will write a 3 paragraph letter to one of the main characters of the Red Scarf Girl clarifying; suggesting or protesting a situation using a graphic organizer. We created this differentiated lesson plan for special needs students who are mainstreamed in the general education setting.

Good resource but may be a little too difficult for students with disabilities. With intentional scaffolding may be attainable.

This lesson is well-organized and attainable, though still quite difficult for SpEd students.
