The Red Successors RSG (Ch 4: audio/vid)

Ji Li's school decides to start an organization called "The Red Successors" which acts just like the Red Guards. Ji Li was originally nominated to be a Red Successor, but then a boy in her class said that the nominations should be done by class status instead of grades. We created this audio/video for our students with special needs (below grade level learners) when they had to read the autobiography Red Scarf Girl. The book details the author's experiences as a teenager during the Cultural Revolution in China. #NBCT
