About This Lesson
This PowerPoint is meant to be used as an introduction or a summary to a unit on the Middle East. I attempted to identify some of the major sources of conflict and organized the PowerPoint under these headings (ethnic disputes, religion, religious tradition, oil, and Israel). I then briefly list some reasons for why we are there. This is meant to supplement a more detailed lecture.
