This presentation looks at the social conditions in America and Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Begins with a protest song by the Temptations that touches on other American social issues. Lyrics are included with the guided notes. Looks at protest movements in America and looks at issues within Vietnam, including the self-immolation of the Buddhist monk Quang Duc. This ppt is meant to supplement a more detailed lecture.
