About This Lesson
What makes a strong leader? Is it possessing the charisma to lead from the front or the self-assured magnanimity to lead from behind? What lessons can students learn from a leader like Nelson Mandela, whose leadership and character have withstood so many travails as well as the test of time? The lesson begins with a brainstorming activity and tests students’ responses in several “crisis” scenarios in which good leadership is required.
