Looked at the first PPT and found a couple of very basic punctuation errors - it's/its, word's/words - which made me cringe and not want to continue checking out the rest of the lesson plan.

The folk tale can be used to discuss so many concepts about loyalty, family, and respect. The vocabulary and assignment are clear. The explanation that the story was told to a Peace Corp volunteer promotes the opportunity to discuss cultural tales and the sharing of history and culture through shared folk tales.
