All students will participate in the Whole Group experience led by the classroom teacher. Students should have individual copies of the Model Drawing Protocol and/or a classroom poster should be made of the attachment outlining the protocol. Note: These lessons model multiplication of whole numbers by fractions. A follow-up lesson will look at multiplying whole numbers by mixed numbers. Aligned to CCSS: 5.NF.6
