About This Lesson
My performance assessment will be done at different stages during this lesson. Students will be given a topic in Science and through Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) strategy, they will be learning about the sun. My lesson plan will follow the Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) model to provide a structured organization of interrelated components of the lesson including my instructional practices. Assessing students will include observation and judgment of ongoing performance skill and final product, which will be assessed using a variety of evaluation tools including checklists and rubrics. Examples of products: Poster, a model, graphs a written essay, or other projects.
