Getting started is easy. Go to the Applied Digital Skills website and sign up to set up your first class. Check out this guide with step-by-step instructions or go directly to the lesson through this link.

In groups, students review a list of movie ideas, and select the three most promising. Then, they use movie data to analyze the return on investment for each actor, genre, and director; create three movie posters and write code for an A/B test to select the best performing poster; and write a proposal to pitch the movie idea and poster to a board of investors.

  3. Using movie data, analyze the return on investment for each actor, genre, and director.

  6. Write code for an A/B test to select the best performing poster.
  7. Write a proposal to pitch your movie idea and poster to a board of investors.
