About This Lesson
This role play simulation has students act as the Roman Senate and, in groups, try to write laws to solve problems that Rome dealt with at the end of the Republic. I would finish this by having each group present their solutions to the rest of the class/senate, and then we vote on whether the laws ought to be ratified.
