About This Lesson

This is a good emergent reader to use in October around Halloween. Make a copy of the book for each child. Students draw the appropriate number of pumpkins in the patch from 1-9 on each page. The last page is the "surprise" page, where the students draw a jack-o-lantern. Students read the book to a friend and take it home to read to parents on Friday.
