This is a lesson that provides stress relief tips for kids. Too much stress can lead to problems such as low energy, headaches, upset tummy! This lesson will give you some ideas on how to stay calm in stressful situations. When you feel calm, you are able to think more clearly and feel happier.

Calming Strategies Included:

1. Talking with a friend or trusted adult.

2. Exercising

3. Breathing techniques

4. Journaling

5. Hobbies such as reading a book, listening to music, or doing art.

This is absolutely perfect as a stress relief lesson for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. Ideal review lesson for upper grade levels (3-5). Created by a teacher, designed for elementary students, and fun for all ages. Elementary School Lesson.

Love that this video and resource helps provide tips on how to handle stressed out kids. I think it is so important to highlight that sometimes kids do get stressed out! Having these tips in your toolbox really do help.
