About This Lesson

No matter the weather, the season, or your skin tone, it’s always important to be sun safe! Help your students soak up sun protection knowledge (instead of harmful UV rays) with this free educational program. Designed for grades 3-5 and 6-8, this program explores key concepts like sun health and safety, electromagnetic radiation and waves, and interpreting and analyzing real-world data. Through activities that integrate health, STEM, and English Language Arts, students will practice reading informational text, critical thinking, understanding energy, and exploring weather patterns.
