This lesson teaches cardinal directions and spatial words. People all over the world use cardinal directions. Many maps include a compass rose that points North, South, East, and West. Spatial words describe where objects, things, or people are located in relationship to the surroundings.

Examples of spatial words included in this lesson: Over/Under, Above/Below, Up/Down, Left/Right, Near/Far, and Front/Behind/Beside.

This is absolutely perfect as cardinal direction and spatial word lesson for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. Ideal review lesson for upper grade levels (3-5). Created by a teacher, designed for elementary students, and fun for all ages. Elementary School Lesson.
