About This Lesson

Flippers and paws and hooves oh my! In this activity, reader's of Science Naturally's "Babies Nurse" will discuss the advantages of different appendages for several animals in the mammal species. Students will learn how animals move, eat and explore through a guided discussion that allows them to contribute their own ideas and learn more about the world around them.
