This activity explores the history of the suffrage movement and the people and politics behind
it. You will act as a newspaper reporter in 1920, writing an article about the fight for suffrage and the debates over suffrage in the U.S. Senate. First, you will research the people, issues, and events fueling the suffrage movement. Next, you will watch a video and take notes on the debates in the Senate. Then you will use the information you gathered to write your article.
