This activity allows children to try sorting emotions through facial expression. By practising recognizing facial expressions children's social skills can improve, as can their emotional literacy.
This emotional sorting activity is a super way to help support children with autism with practising their emotional intelligence. At Twinkl we have loads of resources designed to help children with autism get the support they need, such as this poster which includes some really important facts about autism.
It has been estimated that around 1 in 59 children is diagnosed with autism. This activity is designed to help not only children with autism but all children with their emotional intelligence.
