Objectives: Learn two simple and proven methods for adapting social studies texts to enhance ELL comprehension; Receive ready-made resources for immediate application in your classroom; Participants will analyze current issues and follow a proven sequence which can be tailored to a variety of topics to improve comprehension in ELLs by isolating vital content from abstract information.
Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.
