Since George Floyd's brutal murder in 2020, educators have been more interested than ever before in seeking racial equity in their communities and their schools. But what is happening in schools today regarding equity for students of color and students with disabilities when it comes to student behavior? And what can educators do to advance equity for students of color and students with disabilities when it comes to student behavior? How do the different settings of Remote, Hybrid or In-Person learning impact equity in addressing student behavior? A team of presenters -- award-winning educators and education equity policy/litigation experts -- will explore these questions with participants in an engaging and participatory session. Tips and tools for educators will be provided.
