Bullying in Schools: Lesson Plans and Resources for Prevention

About This Collection

Bullying Prevention and Cyberbullying Resources for PreK–12

Help students recognize bullying, seek support and build a school community where everyone feels safe and included. Bullying involves unwanted, aggressive behavior, a real or perceived power imbalance, and repetition—or the potential for repetition. It can be verbal, social or physical and can happen in person or online.

Explore free lesson plans, activities, booklists, family guidance and professional learning for PreK–12 educators, school staff, parents and caregivers. Topics include recognizing and responding to bullying, cyberbullying and online safety, supporting students targeted because of their identity or background, and helping students safely speak up and report concerns.

Use these resources during National Bullying Prevention Month in October and throughout the year to strengthen relationships, encourage inclusion and support effective prevention and response. Choose materials suited to your students’ ages, your role and your school community.
