About This Lesson

Students look at the game of rock paper scissors to determine how "fair" it is. Students generate a tree diagram of all possible outcomes of the game and use their diagram to justify how "fair" the game is. Students then play a set of rock paper scissors games and record their results each game. They then summarize their results and compare actual practice to the theoretical outcomes from their tree diagram.

Supplimental topics should be (Tree diagram creation, Comparing theoretical probibility to emperical probibility)
