About This Lesson

Students are asked to create a house to meet their family needs. Students create the house using a constraining condition of a $200,000 budget and a cost per area of $100 per square foot. Allows freedom to use multiple shape types for area but focus is on rectangles for introduction to modeling for students. Focus is on structural design but not on utilities and accessories (no plumbing, electrical)
