About This Lesson
Students look at the game of rock paper scissors to determine how "fair" it is. Students generate a tree diagram of all possible outcomes of the game and use their diagram to justify how "fair" the game is. Students then play a set of rock paper scissors games and record their results each game. They then summarize their results and compare actual practice to the theoretical outcomes from their tree diagram.
