About This Lesson
In this phonics video lesson, students practice writing the letter k while learning the sound that it makes. They also preview the multi-letter phonograms ck as in luck and kn as in knit. Then, they write a passage from the Mother Goose rhyme, “Hark! Hark! The Dogs Do Bark.”
This lesson from Story Hour Academy does a great job of introducing kids to reading and writing the letter k. I like the way it also covers the ck and kn phonograms.
