About This Lesson
In this phonics video lesson, students practice writing the letter Z while learning the sound that it makes. Then, they write a quotation from the children's novel, "The Wizard of Oz." At the end of the lesson, students are encouraged to have someone read them the novel.
This lesson would also tie in nicely to a movie night of watching "The Wizard of Oz."
