The Aeronauts by Amazon Studios

The Aeronauts follows widow Amelia Wren (Jones) and scientist James Glaisher (Redmayne), as they mount a balloon expedition to fly higher than anyone in history. This is a journey to the very edge of existence, where the air is thin and the chances of survival are slim.

Use these lesson plans to make the movie come to life for your students to help explore themes around weather, layers of the atomosphere, STEM, women in science, and the physics of hot air balloons.

Enter for a chance to win a private screening for you and up to 100 educators and students of Amazon Studios newest movie, “The Aeronauts,” and one-year Amazon Prime membership. The grand prize includes transportation between your school and theater with popcorn and fountain beverages for attendees. Three additional winners will win a one-year Amazon Prime membership.
