About This Lesson

This is a first grade ELA Unit, Lesson 12 out of 12. All About Living Things: Learning to Navigate and Create Informational Texts - Creating an Informational Text. In this series of lessons students will be learning how descriptive All About books are organized, as they plan and write their own informational text. The teacher will help that understanding by comparing a descriptive informational text with a sequential informational text. Aligned to CCSS: RI.1.5 , R.1.5 , W.1.2 , W.1.7 , W.1.5

Standards
