About This Lesson
The learner will be able to identify a group of objects as having more than or less than another group of objects.
The teacher will call for the attention of the students and ask them to sit quietly in a circle. The teacher will pull out two bags of lollipops, one bag that has five lollipops and one bag that only has two. The teacher will ask the class which bag they would rather have. She will then ask them why they came up with that decision. The teacher will encourage the students to say that they want the bag with the five lollipops, and that the reason they would prefer it is because it has more candy than the bag with just two lollipops. The teacher will tell the students that today they are going to talk about more and less.
