About This Lesson

This lesson is part of a five day unit on European Imperialism. In this lesson students gather evidence for a written argument. Using a blend of both literary and informational text allows students access to a variety of contemporary perspectives dealing with the issues involved in Imperialism. Students use reading, writing, speaking/listening, and language skills as a vehicle for the acquisition of key content material. Aligned to CCSS: RH.9-10.1, RH.9-10.2, RH.9-10.7, WHST.9-10.1, WHST.9-10.8
