Surveys are incredible tools for teaching teens! They are especially good at “hooking” or drawing students into your lesson. Choose a survey that relates to the subject of your lesson and start your lesson in a powerful, reflective, engaging, and introspective way! You can use surveys: -as openers as students come into class -as a “hook in”for a related lesson -as journal prompts -as substitute lesson plans. Have students take one of the surveys that suggests an art project afterwards and the sub can easily give the survey and have students do the art project Good Luck!
