About This Lesson
This math lesson is appropriate for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. It is based on CCSS 1.OA.7.1: “Write and solve number sentences from problem situations that express relationships involving addition and subtraction within 20,” and it is good scaffolding for CCSS 1.MD.4: “Ask and answer questions about…how many more or less are in one category than another.”
