Kwanzaa Celebration and the Seven Principles

Students will learn about the celebration and importance of Kwanzaa such as the customs and traditions, music, clothing and food, as well as compare it to other celebrations, families, and traditions.  Students will also learn the vocabulary of items used in the celebration and the meaning and significance of those items and the seven principles by which those who celebrate Kwanzaa follow in their daily lives.
