Students will learn about a career in art as they study the work of Laurel Burch. Laurel burch used her artwork to create fabrics, pillows, handbags, scarves and other accessories. While creating beautiful Burch cats of their own, students will also explore, line, shape, pattern and color. This lesson meets the Blueprint for the Arts Benchmarks for both learning about careers in art and experimenting with line, shape and color by creating art.
