The Life of Thomas Paine Productions – Lesson Five

Back in France he gets into even bigger trouble, this time for arguing against beheading the King. He loses that argument and it nearly costs him his own head. Once again, speaking the truth can be dangerous! So can writing, especially when you attack religion as a Deist, but he survives the Reign of Terror and is finally ready to go home to America. Have you ever heard of Deists? And do you use reason to make choices in your life?
