The Life of Thomas Paine Productions – Lesson Three

Paine believes in always speaking the truth as he sees it, not so easy to do! It certainly gets him into trouble, and he will end up working on inventions instead of revolutions, sailing to France looking for another new start in life. But it also means that he says the things that need to be said, including about voting rights, something that he fights for passionately. It has been an issue since the very beginning of America. How and why is it still a very important issue today?
