‘Mirad, a Boy from Bosnia’ is an engaging, cross-curricular program involving rigorous synoptic assessments. Presented in four media-rich lessons, this program will extend a student's knowledge and conceptual understanding of language and history with a much-needed discussion about migration and why it happens.
The Toolkit promotespositive attitudes among young people towards vulnerable migrants, enabling an exchange of learning and understanding. This pioneering approach comes in two parts: a Teacher Guide along with a student facing PowerPoint loaded with real life audio dramas and other valuable visual assets for a stimulating lesson experience.
